FAQ
Short answers. The book does not invent a second story after you sign.
Who can use it
Any wallet that can sign a SIWE message and reach Robinhood Chain. No allowlist, no KYC gate on the marker book, no waiting list. Because settlement pays the signed-in address, a wallet you do not control is a wallet you cannot settle to. See connect a wallet.
When a trade pays
After the connected wallet clears $200 of confirmed trade volume, each later fill at or above $200 books a marker at 65 bps, until the $5,000 daily room is used. Sends do not count. Details on how it settles.
Old trades
Open Markers, scan the wallet, or paste a hash the desk can verify. Booking writes owed balance. Convert, then take payment. A single imported fill still has to be $200 or more to book on its own.
After settlement
USDG is an on-chain vault claim to your wallet on Robinhood Chain. Compute mints an owed_ key for the vendor and model you locked. Point the official SDK at this origin and usage spends the remaining cents. The key is shown once.
Sending USDG somewhere else
Not possible. The vault only accepts the session address as recipient. This is the constraint that makes a leaked session useless without the private key that signs the claim.
Why a fill did not book
Almost always one of four reasons: under the floor, out of daily room, a duplicate hash, or a wash hold. The row stays visible on Markers with the reason attached. Every status code is listed on Markers.
The $OWED fee share
40% of net protocol fees from fills routed through the desk is pooled and distributed pro rata to $OWED held at the snapshot. Every 24h at 00:00 UTC, paid weekly, mondays 00:00 utc. Holding is never required to earn a marker and never changes your rate. See token and fee share.
Is a marker a deposit?
No. A marker is a dollar-denominated rewards liability of the desk, settleable on two rails. It earns nothing, it is not lent out, it is not transferable, and it is not a claim on the treasury beyond the published amount.
Does OWED take a cut of my trade?
The venue charges its own fee, and the desk keeps a protocol fee on fills routed through the OWED router — that fee is what funds the marker book and the $OWED distribution. Converting a marker between lines takes no additional cut, and settlement takes none either. You pay gas on your own claim.
Tax treatment
The desk does not give tax advice and does not issue forms. Markers, USDG claims, and compute usage are all visible on the terminal and, for USDG, on chain — export what your jurisdiction needs.
